Happy Wednesday!

What a fantastic flotilla we had - the event was a huge success as we came together with family and friends from both KYC aqnd other clubs around the lake - even the young sailors from KWSC joined in!  It was great to see so many boats on the water.

We were lucky enough to get a brilliant write up from the Hexham Courant as well - you can check it out HERE.

This Saturday the fun continues with club racing at 2pm - briefing in the clubhouse at 1pm... and it's still all to play for so whatever you sail why not come and join in.

Our annual club regatta is also fast approaching on the weekend of the 22nd of August.

Starting on Friday the 22nd we start with a food and drink pairing evening - join us for some socialising in the clubhouse as we kick off the weekend in style.  Saturday continues with an on the water event in the morning followed by an important RNLI campaign 'float to live'.  More info will follow on this one, but it's a really interesting activity which may save your life.  On Saturday evening we will be running our annual BBQ followed by a cruise in company with coffee and cake on Sunday.  This is a fantastic weekend and it would be brilliant to see as many members (old and new!) attend for at least part of it.

Lastly - a couple of housekeeping notes!  

If you are having any issue receiving emails (or them going into spam!) then please remember to 'whitelist' our address - there are some more detailed instructions around this on the club noticeboard!  

Also a quick reminder that dogs on site should be on leads - we have had a few complaints about dogs running around on site off lead.  Last year we had a very near miss with a small child and a dog on the pontoons and we don't want a re-occurance or to bring in further restrictions.
