Built 1989. Very good condition with spacious accommodation and sails very well. She is a much-loved boat, well maintained by us and the previous owners. Unfortunately, due to our advancing years and reduced time for sailing, it’s time for Juniper to move on to new owners. We have made several improvements as detailed below…
4 berth with aft double berth and spacious forward double V berth. Very good headroom for the length of boat.
New main and genoa from Storrar Marine 2022, both set beautifully. Roller reefing to genoa, slab reefing to main. All lines lead to cockpit for singlehanded sailing. Two speed jib winches plus single speed halyard winch. Original sails have been repaired 2022 and are serviceable.
New Stack Pack from Storrar Marine 2022, works very well.
Original spinnaker and pole in good condition, barely used.
Sprayhood professionally refurbished with new windows 2023.
Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke electric start outboard with charging circuit, new in 2016, mounted in cockpit engine bay, with remote gear and throttle controls in cockpit. Engine controls are very easy to access as a result. Hoisting sling included.
New NASA Clipper Duet depth and speed plus NASA wireless wind system, fitted 2022.
New Standard Horizon DSC VHF with GPS fitted 2022, connected to masthead aerial.
Tiller tamer.
Rear boarding platform to ease getting to and from a dinghy or jetty, also has boarding ladder fitted.
Twin axle road trailer in good roadworthy condition.
Mast raising fittings provided by previous owner.
Galley has twin burner Plastimo gas hob and grill. Hand-pumped water with internal fresh water storage tanks. Sink drains via stopcock.
Separate aft heads with Portapotti chemical toilet.
Interior has recently-replaced headlining and replacement upholstery to all cushions. Condition is excellent. Interior woodwork is in superb condition, including folding dining table and chart table.
New 85Ah 12 volt battery 2021. Switch panel, LED nav lights. Internal 12 volt and USB charging points.
Solar panel with 2022 solar charge controller.
Cabin has LED lighting throughout.
Wired for shore mains power, mains sockets throughout interior.
Cast iron stub keel with winch-operated lifting keel.
Draft 2ft 3 with keel up, 4 ft 6 with keel down.
Bracket for small outboard on pushpit.
Fenders, warps etc. included.
Antifoul in good condition.
Has been mostly sailed in fresh water.
Overall, Juniper is in very good condition and is completely ready to sail.
Currently on a mooring at Kielder Water Yacht Club, Northumberland. Mooring tackle included in sale.
